Volunteer Opportunities

How to Volunteer

SUA is blessed with a long history of gracious volunteers who invest their precious time, talent and treasure into making SUA the place it is today. Please consider getting involved in one of the following areas.

Alumnae Board Member:  This is a great way to stay informed about new things happening here at SUA, network with fellow SUA sisters, make an impact on our current students, advocate for your alma mater and give back through your time, talent and/or treasure. Feel free to reach out to the Alumnae Office with questions or to learn more about this opportunity.
Time Commitment: Meetings once every quarter and volunteering throughout the year at various events.

Class Agent: Serve as a liaison to your classmates and the Alumnae Office. Inform classmates of SUA news, ways to get involved, keep SUA informed of classmates’ updates and encourage class participation in alumnae events.
Time Commitment: 1-3 hours/month on your own time.

Academics/Student Life: Volunteer to be a guest speaker in one of our many classes. Teachers are always looking for subject matter experts and “real life” examples that can reiterate and enhance their teachings.
Time Commitment: 1 hour during the week. Dependent on teacher schedule.

Spiritual:  You are invited to attend our monthly alumnae masses and/or volunteer to read or sing at an Alumnae mass.
See mass schedule here

Reunion Party Planning Committee: Are you interested in planning your class reunion and events? If so, we need your help to make your reunion weekend a special time for you and your classmates!
Time Commitment: Time varies on event and time of year

Special Events: We always in need of alumnae assistance throughout the year! Click on the event(s) below for more details and to sign up.
