It looked different than years past, but Saint Ursula Academy’s SUA Palooza was a night of filled with fun and excitement. The virtual event was Saint Ursula’s one and only fundraising event for 2021. Due to COVID-19 safety concerns and restrictions on large events, the executive committee made the decision to transform SUA Palooza into a live virtual event on February 6, 2021.
More than 450 guests registered for the virtual affair, which gave them access to a festive program hosted by WCPO’s Tanya O’Rourke. Guests enjoyed videos from the students, a welcome from President Lelia Kramer ’77 and Principal Mari Thomas, and a special visit from student Hailey Heidrich ’23. They could also take chances on several great raffles and bid on silent auction items from a trip to Florida, to a luxury glamping experience, to an impressive collection of bourbons… and so much more!

Partnering with a team from Saint Ursula and an army of volunteers, they are worked hard to be inventive and ensure the 2021 SUA Palooza was a great success. They succeeded! SUA Palooza is the one and only all-school fundraising event which benefits every student at Saint Ursula Academy by helping to fund operating expenses and other costs of education not fully covered by tuition.
