Cincinnati, Ohio, October 26, 2018 –
Saint Ursula Academy’s “Go
Beyond” award recognizes students for living out the core values of an Ursuline
education, rooted in the teachings of Saint Angela Merici. This year, as we
celebrate our theme of Prophet, we
honor students who are living as contemporary prophets in everyday, seemingly
"ordinary" ways beyond the traditional classroom walls,
athletic arena, or artistic space. Faculty, staff, and students were asked
to nominate students who exhibit such selfless acts. Of the 95 total nominees,
one student per grade was selected by a committee as the “Go Beyond” Prophet Award winners for Quarter 1.Our
Quarter 1 honorees are:
Freshman
Audrey Kirwin
Sophomore
Calipride Nyah
Junior
Rose Widmeyer
Senior
Karley Cappel
Each
one of these students has gone above and beyond to spread kindness, courage,
and empathy each day. We are so proud of their efforts and know you join us in
celebrating their good deeds!
