Saint Ursula Academy’s Christoff Awarded Clermont County Bar Association Scholarship

Cincinnati, Ohio, May 16, 2016 – Saint Ursula Academy is proud to announce senior Zoe Christoff of Batavia is the recipient of a $3,000 scholarship from the Clermont County Bar Association.

The criterion for the selection is simply that a recipient be a Clermont County resident who shows evidence of promise for success in college. With respect to the recipient from St. Ursula Academy and resident of Batavia, the Committee was very impressed by Zoe Christoff’s work ethic, her motivation, and her ability to overcome obstacles.

Zoe is one of six graduating seniors to receive $3,000 each toward their first year of college.

The Clermont County Bar Association Scholarship was the brainchild of John Erhardt, a highly regarded attorney in the Greater Cincinnati area and resident of Clermont County.
The scholarship came into existence in 1999 when Erhardt asked nine other Clermont County attorneys to donate $10K each to begin the fund.

Over the years, many other attorneys have donated money, time, and effort toward building the scholarship so that it will last in perpetuity to benefit Clermont County’s graduating seniors in pursuing higher education.

“On behalf of the Clermont County Bar Association Scholarship Committee, we congratulate Zoe Christoff and her classmates and wish the Class of 2016 all the best in the future!” said Mary Lynne Birck, Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Clermont County Prosecutors Office. “We are eager to learn of her future endeavors!”
