Saint Ursula Academy Launches Personal Care Drive

Saint Ursula Academy Launches Personal Care Drive

Cincinnati, Ohio – Friday, October 20, 2017 –– Saint Ursula Academy kicks off its annual Personal Care Drive on October 23, which runs two weeks through November 10.

One of the ten Ursuline Characteristics we emphasize at Saint Ursula Academy is Personal Care for the Individual. Called to serve accordingly, we annually collect Personal Care Products to donate to local social service agencies.

The theme of this years' drive is SNAP TO IT! Students are asked to collect NEW personal care products and supplies as requested by the agencies we will serve. They will “snap” and share photos as the collection continues. This year, Saint Ursula will support three local organizations with donations: Center for Respite Care, Interfaith Hospitality Network and Healthy Moms and Babes.

The student leaders are Maddie Bambauer, Maggie Uhl and Annie Malone. Annie designed a new logo for the Personal Care Drive, which we will begin using every year.

We encourage our students to bring in a complete list of needed items, which include: gently used or new sweatshirts/pants, new adult undergarments, new socks, shower shoes, reusable grocery bag or other tote, new bath and face towels, washcloths, full sized shampoo and conditioner, full-size deodorant, razors and shaving cream, body and facial lotion, sunscreen, laundry basket , dish and laundry detergent, toilet bowl cleaner, toilet brush , toilet paper (4 pack), sponges and scrub brushes, glass cleaner, scouring powder, general disinfecting/all purpose cleaners, disinfecting wipes, single roll paper towels, garbage bags, new baby bottles, diapers, all sizes, unscented wipes, new baby Onesies - all sizes, new baby socks, infant bath items, travel sized soaps, shampoos and lotions.
