Saint Ursula Academy Vocal Ensemble (SUAVE) Earns Top Honor in Nashville
SUAVE Worldstrides
CINCINNATI, OH  (March 25, 2024)  - The Saint Ursula Academy Vocal Ensemble (SUAVE) participated in the WorldStrides Music Festival in Nashville, TN on March 14-16. The Ensemble received a Gold Rating and Outstanding Choir Trophy. The group received the highest score out of all the choirs at the event and also received an invitation to participate in a WorldStrides Festival of Gold or the Carnegie Hall Festival in New York City next year! 

The members of SUAVE include Maggie Baker '26, Ellamae Brodbeck '25, Lenora Braukman '28, Maya Chavez '25, Nora Goodwin '26, Addie Goss '26, Makiah Hall '27, Elizabeth Mayer '28, Lailah Mohamed '27, Gabrielle Plummer '25, Camille Roman '26, and Josie Serger '27. 

Saint Ursula Academy's many travel opportunities allow our musical groups to compete around the country, as SUAVE was also invited to sing at the Carnegie Hall Festival in New York City last year.   These travel opportunities are important for Global competency skills connected to Saint Ursula Academy’s mission of building a better world as students investigate the world, recognize different perspectives, practice communication skills, and take action for change.
