Saint Ursula Academy is proud to announce that seniors Anna Hamant and Eleanor Smith, both of Hyde Park, have been named FINALISTS in the National Merit Scholarship Corporation competition for the 2024-2025 school year. 

 

Anna and Eleanor now have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 6,870 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26-million that will be offered later spring. 

To be considered for a Merit Scholarship award, semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to advance to the Finalist level of competition. Half of the Finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar title. It takes hard work and a lot of engagement to achieve this level of academic success. We wish these students all the best as the move on in the competition.
