Saint Ursula hires New Assistant Athletic Director

The athletic search committee is excited to announce
Claire Weisbrod ’17 as Saint Ursula Academy’s new Assistant Athletic Director. Claire is truly excited about returning home to her alma mater where she participated in swimming all four years
. Claire received her undergraduate degree from Capital University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude before obtaining her Master of Science degree in Sports Administration from the University of Cincinnati. She has spent the last two years working in the athletic department at St. Xavier High School while also earning her certification as a Registered Athletic Administrator (RAA).
Here is what Claire has to say about returning home to Saint Ursula Academy, “I am beyond honored and excited to return to Saint Ursula Academy as the Assistant Athletic Director. This school holds such a special place in my heart – it was where I grew academically, spiritually, emotionally, and physically as both a student and athlete. I can’t ask for a better opportunity than to give back to the school that played such a pivotal role in shaping me into the woman I am today.
What excites me most is the chance to become the strong, young female role model I once looked up to – someone who can inspire, mentor, and guide our student-athletes both on and off the field/court/pool/etc. I look forward to working alongside the talented Saint Ursula coaches, staff, and students to uphold the school’s mission and strengthen the unique sisterhood.
The opportunity to learn from two incredible professionals like Kim Gunning and Kelly Powers is truly a privilege, and I am deeply motivated to make a positive impact on this community. Go Bulldogs!”
