Elle is not only a very dedicated student who outperforms most of her peers but also an amazing player and person. Elle came to SUA Lacrosse and faced many challenges because of the COVID pandemic.  She never walked off her path. She continued to work hard, stay focused on her future, and dedication to her game. When all things were against her, she never faltered. We are so excited for Elle as we know all her leadership skills, strong work ethic and drive will do great things for her at Mount Holyoke College.  We want to congratulate Elle on her successes and also to her bright and promising future. Her technical skills and field awareness will definitely be missed. Tara was a senior captain and really led by example with her never ending energy on the field. Best of luck at the next level!”

Club Coach Greg Hirschauer has to say about Tara, “Tara Pund is a high energy young lady with an entertaining personality. On our Alliance Cincinnati club soccer team, Tara is well liked and is looked to as an important part of the team leadership group. Tara has done a great job of collaborating with others on team communication and organizational tasks. Her observations are an important resource for the coaching staff as well.

The unique aspect about Tara is that while on one hand she provides valuable organizational leadership within the team group, her personality can be very spontaneous as well. At times, Tara can crack everyone up with a random comment or by sharing a funny personal experience. Tara's spontaneity on the field makes her a difficult attacking player to defend, as she is very skilled on the ball, capable of beating defenders with dribble, pass or shot at any given time.

I have greatly appreciated spending time with Tara as her soccer coach/club director these past 4 years. I always enjoy seeing her and value her contributions to our team, both on and off the field. All of my staff join with me in wishing Tara all our best as a college student athlete!!”
