SUA Vocal Ensemble (SUAVE) Scores First Place in Music in the Parks Jazz Choir Competition

The Saint Ursula Academy Vocal Ensemble (SUAVE) is excited to bring home a new award after a successful competition weekend. The ensemble performed beautifully and had an amazing time singing for the Music in the Parks Competition on May 7 at Kings High School. The group received Unanimous Superior ratings and earned the First Place trophy for the Jazz Choir category. 
Music in the Parks is an annual event that invites marching bands or musical groups to perform for park spectators and have fun at Kings Island. It’s just one event where and has earned numerous awards and honors at area, regional, and national music festivals and competitions. In these events, SUAVE has performed in the Women’s Choir, Show Choir, and/or Jazz Divisions.
Musically talented students audition to become part of this 9-15 member ensemble that performs extensively in the tri-state area. SUAVE also performs at school Masses, pep rallies, and community events.

Current SUAVE members include Lily Anderson '24, Ellamae Brodbeck '25, Emmy Edmondson '22, Momo Greenwell '23, Megan Knapke '23, Fiona Mack '22, Sammie Neeb '23, Alex Serger '24, and Anya Sperber '24.
