Another new school year = another reason to celebrate at Saint Ursula Academy. Saint Ursula is known for its welcoming environment and the first day of school sets the tone for the whole school year. This tradition lived on this year as teachers, staff, and the SUA Bulldog greeted Saint Ursula students on their first day of school by lining up in the front circle drive to welcome each girl with dozens of high fives.
Each student arrived to her first day of school with cheers and high fives from the SUA faculty and staff to welcome her into the community. Each new student was enthusiastically welcomed to a brand new school year by the adults who will guide her through the Saint Ursula experience; and returning students began their year by high-fiving their favorite teachers with their classmates.
This celebratory tradition serves as a fun visual representation of the collaborative relationship between faculty/staff and students and sets the tone for an equally nurturing and productive school year.
