Saint Ursula Academy is proud of its newest award. SUA was named Best Private School in the 23rd annual Best of Cincinnati® Readers Poll in City Beat. SUA was listed with all of the private schools across the area, and received the most votes. The votes came from readers across the tri-state who determined the area's best Eats, Shops & Services, Music & Nightlife, Arts & Culture, Sports & Recreation and City Life, which includes the Best Schools.
At Saint Ursula, the entire school community works to empower young women to develop academically, spiritually, and socially.
“For more than 100 years, Saint Ursula has been known for its strong academics,” said Dr. Mari Thomas, Saint Ursula Academy Principal. “We know our students will be prepared for college, but it’s what happens beyond the coursework that inspires girls to travel from every corner of the tri-state to attend to Saint Ursula.”
Excellent academics and dedicated faculty and staff help prepare students for college and life. But the courses are just a piece of the unique programming for girls. Leadership programs, a focus on personal development of the individual, and opportunties that encourage girls to reach beyond their comfort zone all contribute to a dynamic high school experience.
