Saint Ursula Academy Announces Co-Chairs for 2015 SUA Ball

Cincinnati, Ohio, September 2, 2014 – St. Ursula Academy is happy to announce the co-chairs for the 2015 SUA Ball. Shari and Dan Torbeck of Evendale and Beth and Dave Zilch of Symmes Twp. will work together to plan St. Ursula’s largest annual fundraising event, which is scheduled for February 2015. The theme for the 2015 SUA Ball is “An Evening Under the Stars.

The SUA Ball will take place on Saturday, February 7th from 5:30 pm - midnight in the SUA Gymnasium and Convocation Center on the St. Ursula campus at 1339 East McMillan Street in East Walnut Hills.

The evening includes cocktails, a silent auction, gourmet dinner, and live auction. All proceeds from the SUA Ball go to the Academy’s general fund and help to support St. Ursula’s educational programming and provide aid for deserving young women from the tri-state area to attend St. Ursula Academy.

“This is such an important night for St. Ursula. It’s an opportunity for parents and friends of St. Ursula to support the school while having a great time with friends old and new,” said Barbara Hammond, SUA Ball Coordinator. “We are so grateful to the Dan and Shari Torbeck and Dave and Beth Zilch for taking on this important role.”

Dan and Shari Torbeck are honored to be a part of this event. “We wanted to become more engaged in the SUA community since we feel it is the ideal school to grow and develop our daughters into future leaders. It is a small token of our appreciation as the school helps to grow our daughters intellectually, spiritually and emotionally."

Dave and Beth Zilch see their involvement as a way to show appreciation to a school community which has helped their daughters to become successful. "Dave and I didn't think twice about volunteering to chair the SUA Ball. St. Ursula Academy is a special place. Our daughters have not only received an excellent education but have developed into young women who are ready to thrive in a challenging and ever changing world. It's our goal to raise tuition assistance dollars so any student seeking this experience will have the opportunity....and we plan on having a lot of fun in doing so!"
