Thanks for #CHOOSING SUA ON #GIVING TUESDAY

Cincinnati, Ohio, November 30, 2016 – Saint Ursula Academy proudly joined
#GivingTuesday for a fourth year, a national collaborative effort to encourage spending
with a purpose. #Giving Tuesday is a universal day for “giving” to charitable
organizations during the holiday season. Again this year, Saint Ursula asked friends
to #ChooseSUA and support The Saint Ursula Fund.

Scheduled for Tuesday, November 29, 2016—the Tuesday after Thanksgiving,
#GivingTuesday harnessed the power of the internet and social media. It's part of a
national holiday season movement dedicated to giving, similar to how Black Friday and
Cyber Monday have become days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping.
Coinciding with the Thanksgiving Holiday and the kickoff of the holiday shopping season,
#GivingTuesday inspires people to take collaborative action to improve their local
communities and give back in better, smarter ways to the organizations, like Saint
Ursula, that they support. Saint Ursula faculty, staff and students work together to
support this effort and inspire each other as part of this worldwide movement as part of
the mission to build a better world.

“It’s the mission of Saint Ursula Academy to educate women of faith, integrity and
courage committed to building a better world, so our fit with this worldwide effort is
natural,” said Lelia Kramer, President of Saint Ursula Academy. “It’s important for our
students to learn the importance of giving back and supporting their communities and
charities about which they feel passionate.”

Saint Ursula is thrilled and humbled to have raised more than $30,000 in a single day to help
support the students at Saint Ursula Academy!

#ChooseSUA initiative, you can still make a gift to The Saint Ursula fund by visiting  https://www.saintursulaevents.com/giving/.
