Cincinnati, OH - January 13, 2017 - Saint Ursula Academy and parent group PAAD hosted several special guests for an all school assembly in January. Students enjoyed song and dance performances as well as a presentation from Julie Wynne-Martin, an experienced educator and speaker for Project Love. She talked to the students about being kind and nurturing to each other.
She also shared the moving story about her late son, Eric Scott Russell, who chose to respond with love instead of hostility after a racial slur in his school yearbook hurt him deeply. He passed away from bacterial meningitis at the age of 17, but not before many took note of his peaceful and commpassionate response to a difficult situation.
