Cincinnati, Ohio – March 27, 2017 – Saint Ursula Academy really knows how to usher in spring! More than 400 mothers and daughters enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the Spring Fling Luncheon and Fashion Show at Cooper Creek Event Center in Blue Ash on March 26, 2017.
The sold-out event, hosted by the SUA Parents’ Board, included a huge collection of raffle baskets, large and small. The decorations brought spring inside with bright yellow pops of color and tulips all around the room. The fashion show featured styles by Alligator Purse, Dillard’s Kenwood, Folchi’s Formal Wear, Khakis, J. McLaughlin, Leeli and Lou, Lululemon, Peek of Chic, and SoHo.
Parents' Board members modeled the beautiful outfits alongside their Class of 2017 seniors, and their dads made a guest appearance on the catwalk too, much to the surprise and joy of their unsuspecting daughters.
This annual event raises funds for the Senior Tea, a special event for graduating seniors that spans more than a century at Saint Ursula.
Saint Ursula Academy is a Catholic, college-preparatory, secondary school for young women known for academic excellence and rich tradition. Saint Ursula welcomes students from more than 90 grade schools in the Greater Cincinnati area. The Academy is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School. The campus, located at 1339 E. McMillan Street in East Walnut Hills has been the home of St. Ursula Academy and Convent since 1910. 86% of the Class of 2016 earned college scholarships totaling more than $22-million.
