Students participate in the annual SUA Walk to raise funds in support of the programs and experiences they love. Students are encouraged to save their allowance, earnings from part-time jobs or babysitting, or give up their favorite coffee or meal out and instead support the walk. Each student is asked to raise $50. If the total financial goals are met, the students receive an extra day off at spring break.
The Walk gives our students a deeper appreciation of the value of the SUA education, gratitude for the significant financial commitment their parents have made and awareness of the vital role that charitable gifts play in making their SUA experience possible.
When a student graduates, it is our hope she will consider her SUA education as a transformative foundation and in gratitude will join the thousands of alumnae before her who continue to pay it forward for the next generation of students.
