Religion Department

Our Mission

The Religion Program at Saint Ursula Academy has a two-fold mission. First, it is designed to instruct the student in providing information about the Christian faith from a Catholic perspective. The second process is one of formation, inviting the student to grow in and deepen her response to the God who calls her in Jesus Christ and who speaks to her through the Scriptures, the Church, and the world today.

Saint Ursula Religion Faculty

Our Religion Department is composed of experienced, qualified educators. We treasure our faith and strive to live with fidelity to the witness and teachings of Jesus, the guidance of the Spirit, and leadership of the Church.

We work consistently to be aware of the needs of young people through our own studies, reading, and attendance at various religious education workshops and in-service days. We work cooperatively with our Campus Ministers, Coordinator of Ursuline Spirit Initiatives and Community Service-Learning Directors to further enhance and assist us in our work as teachers.
