2023 Call for Artists

CALL TO ARTISTS - from Greater Cincinnati to feature and sell, or donate their artwork at the 2023 SUA Palooza fundraising event.

This opportunity benefits both the school and the artist, who will either:

  1. Submit artwork at a listing price set by the artist and agree to a 50/50 split for donation to benefit the SUA Palooza fundraiser at Saint Ursula Academy.

  2. Donate artwork to benefit the SUA Palooza fundraising effort.

The 2023 event includes a silent auction and a newly incorporated art sale that will feature artwork from local artists.

This year our theme is Hometown Proud so we’d especially love any art that represents our beautiful city, or anything the artists feel is special to them. Art must be appropriate for all ages. This event will give the featured artists significant exposure to a broad base of potential patrons and art enthusiasts.

Eligibility:

  • This opportunity is open to all artists who currently reside in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Selection Criteria:

Artists will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Originality, creativity, and uniqueness of artwork (can include painting, drawing, sculpture, etc).

  • Creative connection to the Greater Cincinnati area.

  • Appropriateness of art materials used and scale relative to the site.

  • Maintainability, structural and surface soundness, durability and moveability of art.
