  • March, 2008  SUA Technology Director appointed to DyKnow advisory board.  Click here for Press Release

  • February 4, 2008 - SUA welcomed Buck McCoart as the full time technology assistant.  Mr. McCoart and Kevin Lucas, who currently works part time, are responsible for running the student help desk and doing tablet pc repairs.

  • January 22, 2007 - SUA welcomed Adam Niemes, the new technology instructor.  He will be teaching the technology classes during the school year and during the summer.  He is joining the technology department as part of the one-to-one program and will be part of the team providing education and support to our students using tablets.  Mr. Niemes will also be collaborating with members of the faculty to integrate content from other subjects into his technology instruction.

  • January 12, 2007 - Faculty In-service  Faculty had intense training using Blackboard and DyKnow.

 

     


 

  • June 19, 2006 - Mrs. Henninger and Mrs. Diegmueller attended the DyKnow Users Group Meeting at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.  After a presentation by key note speaker Vince DiStasi, from Grove City College on "Maximizing a 1:1 Tablet PC Program through Adaptive Teaching and Learning," they attended sessions on new features of the 4.2 version of DyKnow, a Student's Perspective on the Collaborative Classroom, and Increasing Classroom PArticipation and Knowledge Participation.
