The spirit of St. Angela Merici permeates the school. Every school day begins with prayer, and the chapel is available as a special place for personal reflection with God at any time. Religion classes transmit the faith and traditions of Roman Catholicism to guide young women in becoming committed Christian adults. All-school and grade-level liturgical celebrations affirm the spirit within our school community, and every student participates in an annual spiritual retreat.
This spirituality extends beyond the school to the larger community. A wide variety of community service programs provides ways for students to be active in the larger community, to develop relationships, and to practice their faith. Throughout the school year, St. Ursula students have opportunities to extend themselves in tutoring and mentoring programs for youngsters in the area, in collecting food and supplies for the needy, in visiting and assisting the elderly , in summer mission trips, both local and across the nation and in building and repairing homes here in the Cincinnati area and in the world beyond.
