June 13, 2016- Cincinnati, Ohio - Stephanie Stoops ’16 was awarded a scholarship from the Westfield Insurance and Agents Association. The group’s Scholarship Committee awarded the scholarship to Stephanie based on demonstration of excellence in academics, personal achievement, leadership and community involvement and her intent to pursue a bachelor’s degree. She was selected as one of six recipients from a pool of high school seniors representing 13 states, an average GPA of 4.1217 and countless co-curricular activities.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be a dependent of an agency employee or a Westfield Insurance employee, be entering the first year of college, have a minimum ACT composite score of 27 or a minimum SAT combined critical reading + math score of 1210, and a minimum cumulative 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Applicants may choose to study any academic major in college.
Stephanie will be attending the University of Indiana at Bloomington in the Kelly School of Business.
