Saint Ursula Academy Students Donate Talent Show Profits to Music Resource Center

Cincinnati, Ohio, April 28, 2016 – Students at Saint Ursula Academy are taking their commitment to service seriously and giving back. The sophomore class proudly presented a check for $1,081.00 to the Music Resource Center in Walnut Hills. The total is 100% of the proceeds from the annual talent show hosted by the sophomore class, which includes profits from concessions during the show.

This was the 5th annual talent show held to raise money for the local non-profit organization. The show was held earlier in the spring and for a small admission, the audience was treated to a night filled with singing, dancing, monologues, and instrumental performances. The performers from the sophomore class displayed a wide variety of routines and the entire audience was impressed by the talents showcased.

The students chose the Music Resource Center as the benefactor again this year because they are impressed with the Center’s commitment to assisting students in developing their musical talents. Students may visit the Center after school to learn music skills, write music, and perform their musical compositions. The Center also provides mentors who teach basic life skills and helps students develop their musical talents.
