Saint Ursula Academy's Racadio Earns Perfect Score on ACT

Cincinnati, OH – January 7, 2016 Saint Ursula Academy is proud to announce senior Maria Nena Racadio of Madeira earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT test.

Maria is particularly proud of her accomplishment because she is part of Saint Ursula’s Educational Services program for students with learning disabilities. “I would like others to know that having a learning disability and being in ES (Educational Services) does not mean you won’t do as well in school as others. At some other schools, this may hold some truth, but at Saint Ursula we are so blessed to have such an amazing program that recognizes our abilities and potential and helps us to unmask them. Some people wonder why I don’t just skip AP and honors classes if they are too difficult for me, but they do not understand that I can handle those classes, I just do so in a little different way than others,” said Maria.

Maria is very involved at school outside of the classroom. She is the service coordinator for the National Honor Society and is active as a crew and a cast member in SUA’s theater program, president of the Yoga Club, a member of the French Honor Society, Thespian Honor Society, and Students for Advancement. She isn’t sure where she will be attending college next year, but with a perfect ACT and her status as a National Merit Semifinalist, she will certainly have many options. She plans to major in Psychology.

St. Ursula Academy is a Catholic, college-preparatory, secondary school for young women known for academic excellence and rich tradition.
