SUA Ball A Huge Success!

SUA Ball A Huge Success!

Cincinnati, Ohio, February 8, 2016 – It was a night of dreams comes true for the nearly 400 guests who attended Saint Ursula Academy’s largest fundraising event of the year, the SUA Ball on February 6, 2016. The theme for the 37th annual SUA Ball was Winter Wishes.

SUA Ball chair-couples Greg and Mary Lee Waddell & Kevin and Debra Osterfeld hosted the evening that began with cocktails and a silent auction followed by a gourmet dinner prepared by Funky’s Catering and the featured live auction. Some of the big items up for bid this year included: fabulous trips to several great locations like The Greenbrier, Bonita Springs, Fl., New York, Hilton Head and Chicago, a mobile pizza party for 100, several professional shadow experiences, VIP packages for Keeneland, and an adorable English Bulldog puppy, just to name a few!

Guests enjoyed raffles, games and delicious food. They also enjoyed high-tech hand-held bidding that allowed them to track their bids and follow silent auction items from their very own phone!

“This is such a great event. It’s a great way for families and friends of Saint Ursula to get together to have a great time while supporting Saint Ursula Academy in such a significant way” said Alyssa Kleespies, Special Events Director at Saint Ursula Academy.

The grand raffle item this year – a 2-year lease on a Rav-4 LE from Joseph Toyota or $10,000 cash. During the event, the winning ticket was selected. Jim and Rachel Rieder were the big winners!

All proceeds from the SUA Ball go to the Academy’s general fund and help to support Saint Ursula’s educational programming and provide aid for deserving young women. Saint Ursula is grateful to each of the following sponsors for supporting this important event. To learn more about Saint. Ursula Academy, please visit www.saintursula.org.
