St. Ursula Academy Parents’ Club welcomes new officers

The St. Ursula Academy Parents’ Club welcomed its new officers and members for the 2006‑2007 school year on Aug. 28 at the home of the club’s president, Miriam Gallagher. The agenda for the first annual meeting was set and new members were introduced. Other new officers include vice president Sue DuBrul, corresponding secretary Jane Keating, treasurer Julie Keller, and recording secretary Jane Neyer.

The Parents’ Club plays an integral role in ongoing activities at the academy throughout the school year and into the summer months. They volunteer for major fundraising events, including the largest—the annual Victorian Christmas—which takes place this year on Nov. 17. In addition, the Parents’ Club assists the academy with numerous school‑related activities, including Open House, Parent Night, the Senior Tea and staffing the school's Spiritwear shop
