St. Ursula Academy’s entire faculty greets students outside on first day of school

Wednesday, Aug. 16 - Cincinnati, Ohio, Aug. 11, 2006:

St. Ursula Academy faculty and staff welcomed students on the first day of the school year, Wednesday, Aug. 16, by personally greeting them as they arrived.  All 99 faculty and staff members formed a line in the driveway and cheered the arrival of the 712 students from freshman through senior years.  Principal Frances Romweber says that “welcoming our students on the front drive the first day of the new school year is another way we show them that they are coming each day to a warm nurturing environment where faculty, staff, and administrators genuinely care for them.  Such outreach is important in fostering the loving community that is a hallmark of St. Ursula Academy.”
