St. Ursula Academy technology director appointed to DyKnow advisory board

St. Ursula Academy Technology Director Kimberly Henninger has recently been appointed to the 2008 Advisory Board of DyKnow, a leader in interactive education technology.  Henninger, who resides in Madisonville, joins five other professionals across the United States as DyKnow helps to shape its future direction and influence its strategies in the coming year.

Says St. Ursula Principal Frances Romweber, “Kim Henninger will bring to the DyKnow Advisory Board much technological expertise.  She has an incredible amount of knowledge about how to utilize and expand DyKnow to better serve administrators, teachers and students.  Above all, Kim is a team player and thrives on dialogue with colleagues who share her avocation for the advancement of technology in what has certainly become a digital world.”

Henninger, who has been working at St. Ursula since 1991,  began introducing technology at the Academy with small multi-computer networks in a few classrooms and moved on to develop an all-campus, five building wireless network. Included in her many accomplishments was the major role she played in the Academy’s implementation of the One-to-One Tablet PC program in 2006.

DyKnow is software that fosters interaction and engagement in the classroom.  Its main functions enable teachers to author class notes within the DyKnow Vision interface; it serves as student/teacher response tools; it collaborates note taking; and provides anywhere, anytime access.  Learn more at www.dyknow.com
