St. Ursula Academy student wins first prize in Glenmary essay contest

Cincinnati, Ohio, Sept. 6, 2006:  St. Ursula Academy senior Lauren Head has won the first prize of $1,000 in the 2007 Glenmary Home Mission Essay Contest in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.  The daughter of Clarence and Michele Head of Anderson Township, Lauren’s essay was on “How do you live the mission of Jesus in your everyday life?”

 


St. Ursula Academy is a Catholic, college-preparatory, secondary school for young women.  In 2002 the academy was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School. The campus, located at 1339 E. McMillan Street in East Walnut Hills has been the home of St. Ursula Academy and Convent since 1910.
