According to their French teacher Kim Icsman of Clifton Hgts., the membership requirements for the FHS are a 3.7 cumulative average in French and a 3.00 cumulative in their other courses.

“In addition to doing lots of fun activities related to French culture, the French Honor Society has a service component, too. This year we will be working with two different agencies in Haiti to provide desperately needed items and funds,” says Mr. Icsman. The drive will be done in cooperation with the Academy’s Community Service office, and Mr. Icsman says that the opportunity to link language study to service is a unique one provided by the FHS.
