Twenty St. Ursula Academy students inducted into French Honor Society

Cincinnati, Ohio – December 20, 2006: Twenty St. Ursula Academy students recently were inducted into the French Honor Society.  The honorees are Annie Ahern of Western Hills, Susie Blocksom of Columbia Tusculum, Olivia Danenhauer of Western Hills, Laura Frankenfeld of White Oak, Elizabeth Hilvert of Delhi, Annie Hurt of Hyde Park, Olivia Johnson of Delhi, Allison Keller of Western Hills, Rachael Kroth of Western Hills, Taylor MacEachen of Anderson Twp., Morgan Milano of Milford, Samantha Scherzinger of Union Twp., Lauren Robinson of Anderson Twp., Carole Wurzelbacher of Mt. Lookout, Emily Reber of Madeira, Maggie Reder of Wyoming, Lauren Stegeman of Green Twp., Meredith Sutter of Anderson Twp., Margot Swank of Hyde Park, and Lauren Thomson of Western Hills.  According to their French teacher Kim Icsman of Clifton Hgts., the membership requirements for the French Honor Society are a 3.5 cumulative average in French and a B average in the students’ other courses.  In addition, the students must be willing to commit to monthly meetings where they organize activities in which all SUA French students may participate


St. Ursula Academy is a Catholic, college-preparatory, secondary school for young women.  In 2002 the academy was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School. The campus, located at 1339 E. McMillan Street in East Walnut Hills has been the home of St. Ursula Academy and Convent since 1910.
