Three St. Ursula Academy athletes

Three St. Ursula Academy senior athletes signed national letters of intent to play sports for their respective colleges on Nov. 15thMichelle Kenning, daughter of James and Karen Kenning of Montfort Hgts. signed with the University of Maryland (College Park, Md.) to play Division  I volleyball; Ashley Sohngen, daughter of David and Kimberly Sohngen of Anderson Twp. signed with Xavier University (Cincinnati) to swim on its Division I team; and Kelsey Vehr, daughter of Nick and Laura Vehr of Westwood signed with Miami University (Ohio) to swim on their Division I team.     


St. Ursula Academy is a Catholic, college-preparatory, secondary school for young women.  In 2002 the academy was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School. The campus, located at 1339 E. McMillan Street in East Walnut Hills has been the home of St. Ursula Academy and Convent since 1910.
