Cash Gifts

Can be made by cash or check.
Are tax-deductible to the donor.
St. Ursula Academy has immediate use of the gift.

Gifts of Appreciated Stock

Can provide a larger gift for St. Ursula Academy.
Donor receives a charitable income tax deduction for the full value of the stock as of the date the gift is received in the SUA brokerage account or at the school.
No capital gains taxes on appreciated value of the stock.
St. Ursula Academy has immediate use of the gift.
Stock can either be delivered to the school or transferred electronically.
