The SUA Annual Fund

St. Ursula Academy has been very blessed to have remarkable benefactors and friends over its 99 years who have helped to advance this tradition-rich school. The right people have always been present at the right time to ensure the progress of our school. These incredible volunteers and benefactors have shown themselves as an UNSTOPPABLE force from the beginning days of building the Chapel and St. Angela Hall to the recent years of building Schott Hall, the Gymnasium/Convocation Center and the acquisition of the numerous buildings in the recent decade. Annual support from thousands the philanthropic culture of the school.

Annual is the school’s lifeblood, providing essential funding to the operating budget each year. It allows for the ability to provide the best education for the young women “entrusted to us” by attracting and retaining talented faculty, improving and maintaining a safe campus and providing financial assistance to families in need. These gifts support academic programs, faculty salaries, physical plant needs, library acquisitions, athletic programs, the arts and financial aid, just to name a few areas.

Every year, close to 2,000 donors support the Annual Fund. Their support is a testament of their belief and commitment to the mission of St. Ursula Academy in preparing women of faith, integrity and courage. It sustains the legacy of the Ursuline sisters that started 99 years ago and preserves the tradition-rich education experience that more than 6,000 alumnae have encountered.

An employer that matches gifts to non-profit organizations can DOUBLE or even TRIPLE your donation to SUA. Please check with your personnel office to verify your company’s participation in this program.
