The St. Ursula Leadership
Alliance was created in 2011 to generate more needed funds for student
financial assistance. SULA was established with 20 founding members, all
strong women who love SUA and want to help make an SUA educational
attainable to all qualified students. They are alumnae, parents and
friends who are committed to the mission of SULA, which is: Together we
are providing bright educational opportunities to future women scholars
and leaders.
Each SULA member makes a commitment to donate or solicit gifts totaling
$5,000 per year for five years. This will generate financial assistance
funds to increase what we are able to offer in financial assistance to
students who qualify each year.
At this time, St. Ursula Can only meet the financial needs of some of
our current and prospective families. For the 2011-2012 school year, we
can satisfy only 40% of the financial aid for which our student
applicants qualify. We believe that every young women who is equipped to
succeed at St. Ursula Academy should be afforded the opportunity.
