St. Ursula Academy relies on the philanthropic support of alumnae,
parents, and friends of the school to advance the mission of our school.
Charitable gifts enhance all areas of SUA, from scholarships to
technology to academic programs, and allow us to continue providing
generations of students with an excellent education that prepares them
to be thinkers, leaders, nurturers and prophets. To find out how to give
to ensure this strong academic tradition can continue, please visit Ways
of Giving page.
The Advancement Office is the center for philanthropic contributions and
volunteer activities at St. Ursula Academy.
The programs of the Advancement Office are designed to support the young women who are educated at 1339 McMillan Street, each making her unique contribution to the school. Many SUA graduates return by way of the Alumnae Association and as faculty members continuing to positively support SUA actively. Almost 1,000 alumnae support St. Ursula annually by participating in the Annual Fund, Victorian Christmas and Booster fundraisers such as the Bulldog Bash and the Golf Outing. The support generated by current parents, alumnae, parents of alumnae, faculty/staff, grandparents, and friends enrich the school beyond measure. The volunteerism of the school community allows many programs to thrive while the financial contributions help secure and advance the mission of the St. Ursula Academy.
Many alumnae write back about the impact of their SUA education. The
support of the SUA community is central to providing the resources that
benefited these women when they were students.
