TEAMS – We will have three teams consisting of Varsity, Reserve and Freshman teams.

 

14TH ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL CAMP will be held during July for any interested Saint Ursula students (incoming freshmen through seniors).

 

CAMP SCHEDULE:  Monday, July 14, 2008 through Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM and Monday, July 21, 2008 through Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.

  • On Friday, July 25, Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, 2008, all players will be participating in the Ohio High School Cup which is held at Heritage Oak Park in Mason.  Based upon the number of players, it is possible that all players may not play each day.  Details will follow in July.

Fee:                         $110 per person which includes a soccer ball and a camp T-shirt.

Payment Due:       May 10, 2008, payable to Saint Ursula Academy

Location:               Clear Creek Soccer Fields in Newtown off Route 32.

 

(Please wear shin guards and cleats.  Bring gym shoes so we can move inside in case of inclement weather.  Also, please bring a copy of the completed physical exam form with you the first day of camp.)

 

PRE-SEASON CONDITIONING / FITNESS TESTING will be held at Clear Creek Fields on July 29, 30 and 31, 2008 from 5:30-7:00 PM.

 

TRY-OUTS will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, August 4, 5, and 6 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. 

  • On Monday, August 4 all in-coming freshman will try-out from 5:30 to 7:00PM.  Based upon the first day, some freshman may be invited to move up for the second and third days of try-outs.
  • All in-coming sophomores, juniors and seniors will try-out from 7:00 to 8:30PM all three days.

Try-out results will be announced via email by 11PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2008.

 

ALUMNAE GAME will be held at 7:00 PM at Saint Ursula Academy – Schottzie Field on Friday, July 18, 2008.

 

STUDENT PARTICIPATION FORMS are required by July 1, 2008.  NO FORM IN HAND: NO PARTICIPATION.

ATHLETIC TRAINER – Cincinnati Sports Medicine supplies a trainer during the fall each day after school for three hours.

ATTENDANCE – Once the teams are picked, attendance is mandatory for all practices, scrimmages and games.  If you believe this will be a problem, please do not plan to attend try-outs.

PARENT/STUDENT-ATHLETE MEETING will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the SUA Gymnasium / Convocation Center.  It is mandatory that at least one parent and the student athlete attend this meeting.  If a parent cannot attend, please contact the athletic director at least 72 hours in advance.  ALL ATHLETIC FEES AND PARTICIPATION FORMS ARE DUE AT THE PARENT/STUDENT-ATHLETE MEETING.

GAME SCHEDULE for the season will be distributed at the Parent/Student-Athlete meeting.  Changes will be updated on the SUA web site.
