Meet the Staff

Sarah Catlin

Director of Admissions and Student Life Coordinator

Ms. Catlin is returning for her fourth year at Saint Ursula Academy. She directs both the admission program and the student life program. Both roles provide her the opportunity to work with an outstanding faculty, staff, and student body.  She looks forward to continuing her work in matching fantastic students with a fantastic school.

At Saint Ursula, Ms. Catlin has been active in developing the social media outlet and creating new events that better match the interests of current grade school families in their search for their next academic journey.  The student life department was developed to better support the ever increasing co-curricular offerings along with the newly developed advisory program at SUA.

After graduating from Bucknell University, Ms. Catlin went on to work at Columbia University, Miami (OH) University, and most recently La Salle University in Philadelphia. A former college coach, she had extensive experience in the recruitment of high school students. Believing the education of all students to be of utmost importance, she guided her teams to national rankings in GPA, including 2 academic “championships” for Div I field hockey.

Graduating with distinction from the Masters in Professional Communication program at La Salle University, Ms. Catlin has relished the opportunity to return to secondary education. She continues to enhance the outstanding use of technology at SUA in the classroom by expanding its application in the Admissions process.

Ms. Catlin also coaches the SUA varsity field hockey team, varsity lacrosse team and academic team.  An avid football fan, she likes the neighboring rival Indianapolis Colts and enjoys watching Top Chef and the USA network! She is a native of Vermont and currently lives in Columbia Tusculum.

  Director of Recruitment

Ms. Dellecave is entering her 12th year working at Saint Ursula Academy. A proud mother of two graduates (’06 and ’09) she has seen first hand the benefits of the SUA whole student education.

Passionate about the opportunities for each individual student, Ms. Dellecave is the coordinator of the SUA Shadow program and moderator of the Ambassador Club. Through the Shadow Program, she matches prospective 8th graders with a current student for a Day at SUA! The Ambassadors are the faces of the Academy students who can be seen helping at all school events and are a wealth of information about life as a Bulldog. Also, with plenty of SUA knowledge, you can always start by calling Ms. Dellecave if you have questions about St. Ursula - if she does not have the answer,  she will find the person who does!

As both a mother of students and a staff member at the Academy, Ms. Dellecave has been instrumental in the development of new admission events which will provide specific information for each prospective student. Showcase nights will feature brief presentations and round table type discussion with a cross section of the SUA academy. Ms. Vonderhaar also runs the Saint Ursula Summer Academy, offering cooking classes, writing workshops, HSPT preparation and more!

In her free time, Ms. Dellecave loves to do home improvement projects, is a Bengal fan, and excels in the sport of SHOPPING. To get a way from it all, she will find a good book (the SUA Library has tons of good reads!), head to a favorite camping site or spend time at the pool.  Ms. Dellecave grew up on the West Side of town, where she currently resides, and attended the Union Institute and University.
