What sets SUA apart from other schools?

SUA is set in the most amazing place, we have access to all the resources of the city.

I love SUA for the family atmosphere and the kindness I see everyday. All the students are like sisters and we really care about each other.

How are you a different person by attending SUA?

Since attending SUA, my school pride has grown. I have never felt so proud to wear a school uniform or even t-shirt on the weekends as I do now.

Tradition has affected me, I have matured in terms of responsibility and time management. I am more focused on college and bettering myself mentally, physically and spiritually.

Why should 8th graders spend a day at SUA?

I think girls should shadow at SUA even if this is not their first choice school because there’s nothing to lose and so much to gain.

Emily Walsh 10

The shadow program is what sealed the deal for me. I thought about coming to SUA but after I shadowed I knew I had to come. Through the program, the prospective students get a chance to see how the classes are and experience the incredible atmosphere of SUA.

Kate Bogenschutz 10

Explain the all-girls environment.

You can be silly or have a “bad-hair day” and no one cares!

Hannah Greivenkamp 9

In this environment, we are all really comfortable with each other. Because of this, we are more willing to share ideas and even take risks in class.

Jillian Baker 10

How has religion at SUA benefited you?

Religion is a big part of SUA. I think as you mature through your four years here, you become closer to God and develop a more mature relationship with him.

How would you describe the “feel” of SUA?

Amazing! Everyone at SUA loves each other and is proud to be a Bulldog (whoohoo!). You can turn to the person next to you in any class and be staring into the eyes of a friend.

Hannah Motz 9

For the past year St. Ursula has been my home away from home. I know everyday I can count on someone waiting to give a hug and I love it!

Caroline Ott 10

What have you learned about yourself from your community service experiences?

I’ve learned that it’s easy to take for granted the blessings God has given me when I help people who are less fortunate than me.

At SUA, the teachers are smart, friendly and willing to help. They are all approachable and make themselves available before and after school.

How would you describe honors classes?

The honors classes cover the same information as college prep courses but move more quickly and add in a bit more. The teachers expect a lot , but you receive a lot in return.

My favorite thing about SUA is seeing my closest friends everyday. We learn together, eat together, pray together and laugh together.
