PAAD

PAAD was formed for the purpose of promoting and maintaining the interest of the African American parents in the educational and extracurricular activities of the academy; to support the academy’s fund raising efforts and activities such as Victorian Christmas; to assist the administration, faculty, staff and students in providing cultural activities which complement the academic program, to raise funds for cultural programs, educational needs and training; and to stimulate a spirit of unity and support among African American students and parents. All parents/guardians of African American students at SUA are members of PAAD.

During the school year special activities such as the “Soul Food Lunch” during February (in celebration of Black History Month) and the monthly macaroni and cheese lunches are enjoyed by everyone at St. Ursula.
